Help Us To Set Up Libraries In The Schools

School libraries help students learn how to find and use information. Books are not only for gaining knowledge they also provide the much-needed guiding path to be successful in life and the workplace, both now and in the future. Students are usually the ones who take advantage of the resources that libraries offer. The culture of a school is cultivated through libraries. It also helps students and teachers to develop individually. Libraries provide an awesome environment for students to explore and absorb knowledge, with no intervention. Research has highlighted the phenomenal effect that well-researched libraries have on the learning outcomes of students.

Pupils may be taught appropriate research methods with the help of computers and teaching supplies in the library. Much of what library teachers do is to help students develop the information skills and digital literacy necessary for researching and gathering information – particularly online. Librarians who partner with teachers also can give curious students a deeper understanding of the topic, thanks to classroom materials. Building partnerships with community libraries can help to equip students with the needed resources. A big percentage of Indian students belongs to rural areas where many of the educational facilities are not accessible. Setting up community libraries can help underprivileged students attain their dream goals.

Badhta India is a platform that was created after seeing the plight of young students. Most young students have the willingness to learn and get a desirable education that can give light to their dark life. But without a good education, this dream cannot be achieved. We as an NGO are focused on various goals that are directly linked with the upliftment of society. We want to see all the children from poor backgrounds get the necessary facilities. We and our team of volunteers have taken the initiative to provide library facilities in the rural schools which are deprived of it. Our sole aim is to make education accessible to all. Our volunteers have surveyed that most of the schools in backward areas need library facilities. Underprivileged students can borrow books from libraries and can help themselves in reaching the pinnacle of success.

Badhta India also wants to create a safe reading space for girls who are otherwise ignored by their parents and society. A healthy environment with a good reading room where every other person can get knowledge will be welcomed. We want to build a community of excellent thinkers.
